Lonely Times

How inspired are you?

There he stands, with the whole world seemingly under his foot yet felt as if the weight of the whole world was on his shoulder; he stood tallest yet was feeling like being trampled under the sole of ants’ feet- feeling like the least among the smallest. Having lost all he had acquired in a day, the only thing that rings in his inconsolable heart is the fact that he just has to commit suicide. Grief-stricken and blue, you are face to face with him who thinks he deserves not to live anymore. He stands at the pinnacle of Burj Khalifa and there you are at the ground floor given the delimitation of the fact that he would hear you from the dark, gloomy space that separates both of you. What would be your words to help him change his mind, what would be your consolation to the death-bound man?
He had promised you a heaven on earth, swore never to break your heart but treat you with the best then suddenly he made you experienced a hell in heaven. Now you are 33, with a biological ticking clock, shouting out loudly- tik tok, tick tok goes your clock and with every second that passes reminding you the gore and the pitiful state of an unfulfilled and seemingly endless state of unwanted singlehood!
At every moment of our life, we all need to get inspired so as to counter all oppositions, defeat all giants on our way, and step up to be who we ought to be; recover from every hurt and despair and move on with life again. How strong your desire is, is determined more less than often by how highly inspired you are. As we take the journey through life, we come in contact with different obstacles we must surmount, different tunnels we must pass through, fearful lanes we must thread and heights we must climb. The only fuel we will have to pursue our dreams is the level of inspiration we have in us, the only melody we can have when we lack life’s song, the only healing to our broken heart.
Even as we delve deep into “The Inspiration you Need” series, I hope to drop few lines to make that suicide-bound man change his heart, that heartless guy fall in love again; that mediocre think differently of himself. In subsequent editions of Lonely Times, I hope to feel you heart with the inspiration you need for different situations.
